Initiative Process Information

The initiative process document is intended as a guide for those considering filing an initiative application. It is highly recommended that before beginning the initiative process the applicants consult the Wyoming Constitution and the Election Code of the Wyoming State Statutes. An electronic version of the Constitution may be obtained via our website by clicking here. An electronic version of the Wyoming Election Code may be obtained by visiting the Legislative Service Office's website.


In addition, bound copies of both documents are available from the Secretary of State's Office for a pre-paid fee of $3.00 per copy.
