Absentee Voting Information

In Wyoming, any qualified elector may vote by absentee ballot. Voters can vote an absentee ballot:

  • In person in the office of their county clerk. You may go into the office of the county clerk 40 days before an election and vote an absentee ballot in the clerk's office.


  • By requesting an absentee ballot be mailed to you by calling the county clerk or submitting your name, residence address, mailing address, and birth date or social security number. Once your information is verified, a ballot will be sent to you in the mail.


  • Are you a military or overseas citizen who is a resident of Wyoming? Click here for an application for an absentee ballot.

    Absentee ballots must be received by the county clerk no later than 7:00 p.m. on Election Day. Absentee ballots can be returned in person or by mail.
